AKTIFUL is a Bangladesh-American social enterprise dedicated to empowering youth through innovative educational programs and micro-entrepreneurship development. Our mission is to bridge educational opportunities between communities while preparing young people for success in today's global job market. We believe that quality S.T.E.M education should be accessible to all children, regardless of their economic background.

Our Peer-to-Peer Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics program creates an exciting international learning bridge between Bangladeshi students in rural communities and Bangladeshi-American students in the United States. Through this innovative program, your child will engage in hands-on S.T.E.M learning while building meaningful connections with peers across the globe.

Duration: 1 Full Academic Year Schedule: Every Saturday, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Class Size: Limited to 10 students per cohort Age Group: K-12 students (grouped by grade level)

Weekly Session Format:

• 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Interactive S.T.E.M lesson and demonstration
• 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Nutritious meal break (provided)
• 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM: Hands-on project building and experimentation
• 1:45 PM - 2:00 PM: International peer connection and wrap-up

Science: Fundamental scientific principles through practical experiments and real-world applications

Technology: Basic electronics, circuit building, and introduction to programming concepts

Engineering: Problem-solving skills, design thinking, and building functional projects

Mathematics: Applied mathematics through S.T.E.M projects and analytical thinking

Eligibility Requirements:

• Students currently enrolled in grades K-12
• Demonstrated interest in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• Commitment to attend weekly sessions for the full academic year
• Parent/guardian consent for program participation and recording

Limited Spots Available: Only 10 students will be selected for this pilot program cohort.

While the program is completely free, we ask parents to:

• Ensure regular attendance (minimum 80% attendance required)
• Support student completion of take-home reflection activities
